Review
The first thing to make clear of SEO Surf is what SEO means, at least for those who don’t know that. SEO is the acronym for Search Engine Optimization, that being said everything will make much more sense from here on. This particular pretty innovative tool is available free of charge, what is also pretty innovative, without time limit or function limitation. Donations are received though, so if you feel like the application, go ahead and keep the project ongoing.
The main tab of the system is the SEO Analysis which, in turn, includes the five following tabs:
- Page Summary: this tab lists all the elements included in the URL that you specified to analyze.
- Outgoing links: this tab lists all the links included in the page that would lead you outside the page.
- Incoming links: this tab lists all the outsider links that would lead you into the page.
- Meta Tags: lists the meta tags included in the page being analyzed.
- Images: lists all images included in the page and offers a preview option.
Another tab of the system is the Back Links tab which is intended to monitor your link partners, that is to say, those partners who include links to your sites in their sites. From here you can monitor the activity.
The search engine tab is like a built-in web browser. You’ll see just a searching bar with three options buttons to select the search engine to use among Google, Yahoo, and MSN. You just enter a keyword and hit Search Now and the top results will be display immediately.
The keyword research allows you to find relevant keywords for your website. Just type in the keyword and hit Get Suggestions to see a list of appearances.
Finally, the Help tab shows different ways to get assistance. You can open the local file of instructions, and some online resources. |
